JULY 2011
Dear Scanners,
This is a very overdue newsletter. I
plead an acute poverty of time, mainly as result of
a busy 3 year old, a building project, a stolen
cellphone and telephone cable theft, that left me in
the electronic dark ages for a significant period of
time. Actually the complete lack of electronic media
was strangely reminiscent of a more tranquil era…
As you will see on the page, we are
all getting ready for the Cape Town SASUOG Congress.
The congress committee have been
working very hard, and have lined up an exciting
range of topics and we are looking forward to the
workshops surrounding the main congress. As always
Londocor are making it very user friendly to
register.
The Cape
is always an alluring destination. There is just
something about the mountain, the sea and the wine
lands that always makes it very easy to click on
www.Kulula.com.
As always if you register for the
congress you automatically get SASUOG membership for
the next year or until the next congress, as is the
case with ISUOG.
We are aware of the user
unfriendliness of our current system, for those of
you that do not attend a congress. We hope to have
that sorted in the near future, and apologize for
your frustration in this regard.
As you know I am always looking for
material to publish on the webpage – even if it is
just a comment, an interesting picture, a private
practice issue, what kind of machines and additional
tech you are working with. Maybe it is time for us
to start a chat facility?
I would love to hear back from you,
and as always any contributions for the page are
very welcome - even from the trade sector.
Warm regards
Ilse Erasmus
