CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Committee invites the submission of abstracts to be considered for oral or poster presentations.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 June 2011. Registrars are specifically invited to present. Abstracts will only be accepted via the website www.sasuog.org.za Faxed abstracts will not be accepted. Please provide the presenting author s full name, title, affiliation, physical address, telephone, fax numbers & E-mail address.

Please note that authors of accepted abstracts must be registered delegates. Guidelines for the submission of abstracts are available on the website www.sasuog.org.za

Abstracts must be typed in English, the body of the text must not exceed 450 words (this is excluding the information listed above)
Introduction: Should be brief and informative and state the aim of the study.	Introduction
Methods: Include description of subjects and research methodology.	Methods
Results: Outline the findings of the study supported by statistics as appropriate. Do not use figures, graphs or tables in the abstract. The data provided must be sufficient to permit peer review of the abstract.	Results
Conclusion: Provide summary and relevance of the main findings.	Conclusion
All accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract handbook without further editing. Abstracts that do not adhere to the specified format cannot be included in the handbook.
